Alaskan Malamutes

Bred to endure incredibly cold conditions, the Alaskan Malamute was a freighting dog of the Inuk people. They're amazingly strong and independent; they work individually to pull cargo short distances. They've been carefully bred for softer temperaments, but still do best in single animal homes.
